School Data Privacy Notice

What a parent may connect
School notices, email content selected by the parent, teacher or facility contacts, dates, assignments, attachments and the parent’s follow-up actions. Dora requests the narrowest available provider permission and keeps sending authority separate from reading authority.
Purpose and recipients
Dora uses this data only to organize, summarize, remind and draft parent-reviewed responses. Necessary hosting, email and AI-extraction processors receive only the minimum data needed under contract. School data is not sold, used for behavioral advertising, model training, credit or insurance decisions.
Parent control
A verified parent can disconnect a mailbox, withdraw school authorization, correct extracted information, export records and request deletion. Sending an email or disclosing child information requires a separate parent review and action.
Not a FERPA shortcut
This parent authorization does not make Dora a school official or replace any agreement a school must sign under education-privacy law. A direct school deployment requires a separate legal and security review before activation.
