Privacy Notice
Effective October 18, 2026 · Version 1.1
Health records paused
As of October 22, 2026, health record collection and in-app access are unavailable. Existing records have not been deleted. You can still request access or deletion through Privacy & Data Rights. Earlier health notices below describe previously offered processing.
What Dora collects
Depending on features a parent enables, Dora may process account and household details; family members and relationships; schedules and routines; messages and voice recordings; photos and videos; memories; school notices and contacts; parent-entered health records and documents; device, security and audit information; agreement receipts; and subscription records. Dora collects only information needed for an enabled purpose.
Sources and purposes
Information comes from adult household members, child interactions authorized by a parent, connected services selected by a parent, uploaded documents and security signals. Dora uses it to operate the family assistant, organize private records, create parent-requested media, protect accounts, meet legal obligations, provide support and fulfill verified privacy requests.
AI and service providers
Dora may send the minimum necessary text, audio or selected media to contracted hosting, authentication, communications, storage, payment or AI processors. Contracts and available provider controls must prohibit behavioral advertising and model training on Dora family content. Important extracted facts remain drafts until adult review. Current subprocessors, locations and retention terms must be published before production launch.
Disclosure
Information is available only to household members according to role, processors needed to provide a selected feature, or authorities when legally required. Optional child, health, school and AI-media processing uses separate parent permissions. External sharing or publication requires another parent action. Dora does not silently give family conversations to human contractors.
Retention and deletion
Family records remain until a controlling parent deletes them or closes the household, subject to disclosed backup, fraud, security and legal-retention limits. Raw voice, temporary extraction files and processor copies must use documented short retention. Agreement and security evidence may be retained in minimized form when necessary to prove authorization or defend legal claims. Dora documents deletion across primary storage, files, backups and processors.
Security and incidents
Dora uses private storage, household access controls, encryption in transit, authenticated access, audit records and restricted administrative access. No service can guarantee absolute security. Dora investigates suspected incidents, contains access, preserves evidence and provides legally required notices, including health-data notices where applicable.
Your choices and rights
Verified adults can request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, consent withdrawal and appeal. Some withdrawals disable only the related optional feature. Use Privacy & Data Rights. Core terms or privacy acknowledgement can be rejected by closing the account rather than rewriting the original receipt.
Regional and international use
Dora enables a region only after its jurisdiction pack, required representative, transfer mechanism and request timelines are implemented. Cross-border transfers use required contractual and technical safeguards.
